We are Vidlet: Mobilizing Video Insights for business. We are seeking a Qualitative Researcher to drive Vidlet’s business forward. As a critical early-stage hire in a dynamic company, you will be our partner as we navigate explosive growth based on our successful 2017 track record. Vidlet’s mobile first video management platform is used by companies like BMW, McKinsey and Pfizer to manage massive amounts of video content, gain insights from customers in mobile video market research, or interact with employees through mobile video conversations.

Recruiter

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Recruit niche domestic and international user research participants for target market research studies, using nontraditional and traditional sources, such as social media sites
  • Maintain and grow relationships with participants throughout the duration of studies
  • Review screening questions and ensure participants meet the criteria for particular studies
  • Forecast cost, feasibility, lead times, and more by working closely with our Customer Success and Research team to match customer expectations
  • Work with a variety of third party vendors, such translation services
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2+ years of experience recruiting participants for market research studies, crowdsourcing, B2B research participant recruiting or similar
  • Avid networker, enjoys meeting new people, constantly expanding your connections and not afraid to leverage your existing network
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Asks questions, wants to know how, when, where and why to find unique sets of skills
  • Able to meet tight deadlines while remaining detail oriented
  • Experience managing vendors

Full Stack Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Full Stack developer who is willing to take a key role on our team. Our Full Stack developer must have some knowledge in all stages of software development. You’ll be working alongside other engineers and developers, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure of our platform.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Design overall architecture of our api and web application.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
  • Test the code you write and collaborate with QA to improve the quality of the product.
  • 3+ years experience on web apps
  • Experience with a popular MVC framework like Django, Ruby on Rails or Grails preferably Spring Boot
  • Experience with a Javascript framework, preferably React and Redux
  • Experience with datastores (we use Postgres and Elasticsearch)
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (we run everything on Elastic Beanstalk)
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools (we use Git)
  • Hunger for growth and learning
  • Ability to take a project and run with it

Researcher

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Work directly with Vidlet’s clients to help them design mobile qualitative projects.
  • Work with clients to create a screener for recruiting and design questions to address our client’s research needs.
  • Use our secure platform to help our clients navigate that platform for content viewing and analysis.
  • Analyze the content respondents submit and match your insights against client’s research objectives.
  • Create the final deliverable and present the insights and observations to our clients.
  • Contribute your ideas to help make the Vidlet platform increasingly better.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 5 – 10+ years of experience designing, analyzing and executing qualitative research.
  • Demonstrated capability for strong organizational skills and adherence to process.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and can work with top clients across a wide range of industries.
  • Adapt to changing organizational demands and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with different qualitative research techniques and are open to new tools and practices. Mobile qualitative experience is a plus but not required.
  • Creative and flexible when working with clients to meet their research needs, both in findings and deadlines.
  • A team player, however, you can comfortably take on a solo project.
  • Naturally curious and dive head first into a client’s industry to come up with the best questions and insights possible.
  • Excited to get in on the ground level at a startup that’s disrupting the research industry.
  • Experience analyzing and drawing insights from qualitative research and you enjoy presenting those findings to clients.
  • Motivated, organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excited to join a new team and make a big impact in the mobile qualitative research space.
